Backup camera, infotainment and amplifier

I have a 2016 suburban that had some work done on the rear. Can a short in the wiring of the camera cause problems with the infotainment system and blow the amplifier?
 
If you mean amplifier separate from the head unit, doubtful but anything is possible.
