I don't know if this is the right forum for this post but. I have 2005 Cavalier DOHC ECHOTEC. The ignition lock broke in October and couldn't turn the swith. Car had to be towed to dealer. They replace the switch with a GM replacement part. It broke yesterday again locked in the run position and couldn't get it to go back and cant remove the key.. What I want to know is that after only 5 months is that part covered by a warranty?
I don't feel that after that short of period of time I should have to pay again for that expensive switch, when we tow it to the dealer the dealer.
I know they'll probably hit me again for labor too!
