Anyone changed their shift knob on a chevy cobalt?

I have an 09 cobalt 5sp and i hate the stock shift knob and want to change it. Has anyone bought a new shift knob for their car? one that fits the boot? where did you buy it?

No ! you cannot do that ! It is like that tag on your mattress that says "do not remove under penalty of law""

Changing knobs is easy and there are 2 methods
A screw-on may have a lock nut below it turn the nut clockwise then the knob clockwise.
a set screw usually a hex or Allen wrench,loosen and the knob pulls off.
Install new knob in reverse order.
NEITHER method comes near the boot.
