can I add to the antifreeze? My car message is antifreeze is low. The plastic container is a little low. I am a woman and my ex told me it has to be the same brand or it wont mix? help????
Since your overflow bottle is just a bit low, you can add some dexcool (orange in color) to your vehicle. This should turn off the coolant light. You should not have to mix it with water, since you are just topping it off.
Yes you can add to the antifreeze- buy some dexcool- its orange in color- just buy full strength not premixed- and add to the bottle- keep in mind if it happens frequently- you have a leak and it needs to be investigated. By the way it does not matter if you're a woman- you can still know the basics of taking care of a car!
