A question about my 2004 chevy silverado 1500? please HELP?

Recently i started noticeing that my truck has been hesitating when you start pushing the gas pedal down and starts like bouncing around or basically just hesitating. and i kinda figured it was either bad gas or the fuel pump or filter. what do you think it is??? THANK YOU

Fuel Filter is a good start. I know there have been a lot of problems on the Chevy 1500 for an intake gasket leaks. I believe your truck falls into that range. I believe GM did a recall for them but am not positive.

i had a s-10 that did the same thing..it was my fuel relay switch...but i would start small....try running some fuel injector cleaner throught it first & then look at other options..just a tip
