im an old chevy fan from waaay back and my son and i picked up this 73' nova for a father/son street~strip project. we are having alot of fun putting it together! he is doing the mechanical (502/ th350 trans) and im doing the body work and all of the exterior trim etc. the bumpers have some rust on them and i was replacing them anyway so here is my question.. i dont like the 73 or 74 bumpers and was wondering what i takes to change to the earlier style bumpers. i know ill have to change the grille and was wondering how much of a pain it would be! im not afraid of it (shaved the side marker lights, drip edge due to rust and am blacking out the quarter glass), just want some input from someone that knows or has been there! thanks in advance
