99 suburban power wont go off

I have a 99 chevy suburban c1500. And i just noticed that when i cut my truck off and take the key out the power to the truck is still on. My amp and radio are both hooked up so that they only get power when the truck is on and goes off when the truck is off. Well when I cut the truck off they are both still on indicating the power to the truck is still on even when the key is out. Any help out there?

When they remain on with the key out and the drivers door open, do your interior lights come on ? If they dont come on I would suspect a door switch if they do come on I would suspect the BCM, body control module.

It might have even thrown a code. OBDII is pretty informative.

Could be as simple as a switch
