Our 99 Suburban is making noise when driving over 20 mph. The only sounds, available on youtube, I've found that are similar to it are that of a heat shield rattling. The noise does not happen when revving or idling, only when in drive and going over 20. This noise was NOT there before new brake pads were put on last weekend. Any tips on what it could be? It isn't a knocking sound. It sounds more like if you stick something in a rotating fan blade. Have it scheduled to go to a shop in the next couple of weeks, but would like your suggestions if you've had this same thing happen to your Suburban.
