I am completely new to car audio systems and basically do know too much about them such as what kind of amp to get, what speakers, sub, ect.
All I can tell you is that I have a '99 Chevy Suburban LT that has a stock HU and speakers that are starting to sound like crap. And with the Suburban being as big of a truck as it is, I want to get a proper system for it.
What I would like to do is buy new speakers that will fit in the stock places, and I'm willing to get a newer HU, and I also have room to add a sub and amp.
Pretty much I just want to get this truck to sound like a mini-club type deal on the inside, and i'm aiming for around $400-$500.

Thanks

Support responses on this forum are pretty scarce. You might want to contact some experts like Crutchfield. Most of the time they know what will work for a particular application.
I bought front speakers and an HD radio with a wire harness and DIN dash adapter. The old radio space is now filled with a small storage compartment. The new remote rests perfectly in there.
