I just got a 97 Silverado the other day with a 97 Tahoe 5.7 350 V8 engine. It has a miss which occurs occasionally while driving. Does not happen while idling in gear or neutral. Speed does not matter and the hardness of the miss is dependant on how hard you are pushing on the gas pedal. The engine was replaced about a couple of months ago and had 71K on it. They used the plugs and plug wires that were in the Tahoe. I was told that it was checked out and nothing was found to be wrong. No codes. Any ideas????
Also the steering has above normal play and feels kind of loose. Is there a way to tighten up the steering and take out the play? Thank you for your time and assistance.
