My dad Has a 950hp Chevy silverado that he keeps at a storage facility for outdoor work. It has a problem with its head gasket. It almost looks like its about to pop off. It recently had some work that im unfamiliar about. something about a "Dyno" put into it and ever since then we have been getting a Rattling noise under the floor of the truck. What could the problem be. The mechanics has no other choice but to take the duramax engine out. Does he need to do that? Is there another solution?
I MEANT TO SAY THE HEADGASKET ALREADY POPPED AND IM WONDERING WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT

Dyno refers to an engine dynamometer. It is used to measure the power an engine makes.
If your dad's truck actually has 950hp. then it has been HEAVILY modified and the rattel you hear is probably the transmission being torn to shreds.

putting the truck on the dyno also tells me that he got it tuned. Which means they might have EFFED it up and it's now missing or knocking or who knows what else.

usually you can't see a headgasket as it sits between the block and the head. Which means the other option is that you have NO idea what your talking about and the truck is bone stock and doesn't have anything near 950hp.

either way, you need to take it to the mechanic. If it's been modified, there could be a ton of things wrong with it, and it would be really hard for anyone to venture a guess as to whats wrong without a complete history of the mods, as well as to know if each mod was done correctly or not.

Additional: the headgasket already poped off..... and you want to know what's wrong with it..
I'll give you a hint... You blew a head gasket. Those arn't just for show you know.
