So i have this 95 Chevy Impala ss with the 5.7 Eng. and 4L60E transmission, i'm having this weird problem, it will only shift from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd then it will stay in 3rd gear unless the battery gets disconnected, its only setting a code 51 which is for prom failure, now i have tried 3 different pcm's and no luck, i tried a pcm from a 96 camaro Z28 and trans. worked perfect, but a/c won't work and sets all kinds of engine codes, has anybody run into this problem?
