seems i m having the same problem i rebuilt the fuel pump diaphram whiched helped alot but i think i need a air idle control..did you fix yours??

I've been thru that, check your fuel pressure. If it's below 9psi your fuel pump is bad.

0-8 PSI fuel is bad 9-13 PSI pump is good 13 PSI great you want it up to 12-13 PSI the low the number the more fuel you are using. try fuel filter too. might be clogged.

This might sound odd, but check the wiring gong from the fuel tank sending unit tot the injectors or fuel body on the engine. A company truck I had did this very thing for 2 months and I could not find the problem to save my life. I was crawling underneath one Sunday afternoon tightening exhaust clamps and found a wire hanging that had been touching the exhaust. The heat had burned off the insulation and was touching the bare wire and causing a momentary short, hence the "miss" and loss of power. It would literally not climb a hill under its own weight due to this. I re-wrapped the wire, zip tied it back to the frame and it was good ever since....this was after a few dents in the hood with the frustration of not being able to find the problem. :D
