I have a '93 'burb Silverado but the grill is similar. '93 owners can probably sympathize, the "chrome" in my front grill is peeling down to bare plastic.
I'm thinking of painting the grill to match the body paint. If anyone has done this, how did you prep the grill? Do you sand all of the plastic chrome off? Take it down to where it has good adhesion? Any particular primer that works best?
I also think I want to eventually do the same to the F&R bumpers.
