I have a 91 Chevy C 1500 with a manual transmission. It has the 5.7 V8 It is slipping and it pops out of 4th gear. Should I just change over to an automatic transmission and how hard would it be. Thanks for your advice

Have you looked into the price of a transmission that comes with a guarantee? You need to find all the small parts and shifter related parts to change over. Price out the cost of rebuilding your current transmission to make an educated comparison.
