Howdy
I've got a 90 3/4 ton with barn doors. The right door sags so much that I have to pry it up a little so I can open the door.
Anyone know how to adjust them?
Also the passenger doors could use some adjustment also.
Thanks

Most body shops can adjust the doors for you cheap. In fact, they didn't even charge me extra when I got my 1990 Suburban painted. The barn door I'm not sure about. Another "cheap trick" with the regular doors is to wrap electrical tape around the post the door latch grabs onto. this acts to lift it just enough for a minor adjustment.

I've done both, and both worked well at the time. If you can handle imperfection, but can't handle spending money, go with the cheap trick. If you've got an otherwise nice ride and the doors are keeping you from getting dates, hit up a good, but inexpensive body shop.

It depends on why your door is sagging. If it is a loose or broken hinge there are kits at most parts stores in the HELP section to repair these. If it is just out of alignment you can loosen the hinge bolts that go into the body and adjust that way.
