I have an 88 V10, 350 TBI, 700R4 trans. When it's warm outside, over 80 degrees, and usually after highway driving it stalls at stoplights. Even when I shift into neutral and try to throttle up it'll still stall out. I shut it down and it starts up but then when I stop it stalls out.
Here's what's new on it:
Distributor, cap, rotor, wires, ECM, plugs
Fuel pump, relay, filter
Radiator, water pump, thermostat
Battery, cables
Starter
Has anyone had this problem?

have you scanned the computer for codes?
do you have a check engine light on?

No check engine light. I've read something about the torque converter not unlocking...or locking... Not sure how to check that or if it's better to take it to the shop to have them check.

if its stalls in neutral the problem is not the torque converter. check for broken or cracked vacuum hoses that could be leaking.
