I had a 1956 Ford truck with a 1977 Town Car seat in it.
As long as they are not to wide. You can mount them in.
Measure both at thier widest point.
Just remove your old ones, seal the holes, and drill out for the new ones.
If the newer seats have electrical harnesses, then you might have a wiring nightmare. You would have to make your on power harness
for your truck. Thats what we did for the 56 truck above.
