78 nova sub frame bushings

Im in the process of swapping out sub frame bushings and I had a question. On the subframe bushing i know I have to take the wheel well out to get the one of them but do i have to loosen both sides to get one side off . or i have to do them one side at a time leaving the right side complete while i work on the left
