I do some drag racing on the weekends and use Hoosier 9" slicks. I'm concerned about at what point should I seriously consider aftermarket axles? I'm still running my stock 29 spline axles with a posi unit. Current horsepower is around 420 with a 4500 stall using the trans brake but only about 2500 stall foot braking the car. Most of the time I foot brake the car but I do have a trans brake that I may start using. Should I be concerned about my 10 bolt rearend and stock axles at this point? I did have the axle tubes welded to the center section to prevent the tubes from twisting loose from the housing. Thanks for any input!
