74 Nova Neg. Battery Terminal grounding Location

I have just bought a 74 Nova and I'm trying to redo a few things on it. I started looking at the battery cables and the negative side only goes to one place and that is the top of the alternator bracket? I always thought that it should go straight to the engine block and then from there it should tie into the frame?

Everything seems to work the way it is now but I feel that I need to add more grounds than just the one?

Can anyone tell me or show pictures of how their 74 is grounded? Thanks for the support.

Did you check if you have ground straps from the valve covers to the firewall and from the subframe to the body?

for sure there is nothing on valve covers to fire wall. I will need to look closer on the subframe to body.
