69 chevy nova brake/steering wheel problem?

im not the most proficient with cars so im not sure the exact mechanics of this. but occasionally when i brake the car the steering wheel turns hard to the left. i havent figured out if there is something different going on when it happens than when it doesn't.
do any of yall know what may be happening when i brake? or what i can do to fix it?

if that model has drum brakes they could be out of adjustment. if it has caliper brakes the right caliper may be seized.
