Hi I have replaced the engine on a 99 Suburban with one from a wrecking yard that they say ran when they tested it. I don't have it completely hooked up but almost everything is. It won't start though. It has spark at the plugs and it has fuel. And as far as I can tell the timing is right. Are these so computer run that everything has to hooked up? If it was a bad cam sensor would it still have spark, just not start? This is my first Chevy and my newest vehicle so I'm not familiar with them. And the Chilton/Haynes manuals are crap anymore other than basic knowledge. If you are a mid level mechanic you know more than they can tell you.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
