4.8 or 5.3?????

Ok somebody please help me out here. Just bought a 2006 5 speed v8 2wd and have no idea if it is the 4.8 or 5.3. Admittedly not the most savvy under the hood so bear with me here's a few things I know hopefully someone can help. If anyone needs further info let me know

2006
V8
5 speed
Aluminum heads marked 706
No sticker under the hood that says what engine it is

Currently no way to tear it apart and look at pistons
So if there's some "secret" identifying mark help me out.

Look at the 8th character in the VIN. P=5.3, V=4.8
