2020 Silverado 2500HD, 4x4, 6.6 Duramax

I received a letter from Chevrolet advising me of a recall to my truck concerning a module on my transmission that may cause the rear tires to lock up. The letter said Chevrolet does not currently have the new part available, but will notify me when they do. About a week later I took my truck to the local dealer for scheduled transmission service and an oil change. The Service Manager saw the recall and told me they did have the part in stock. Approximately a week later, I started noticing my AC took over 30 minutes to cool down, and my transmission was running in a higher gear than normal (at least sounded like it was). The problem has become increasingly worse over the last few weeks.
I just received a second recall notice for the same issue and called the service department inquiring why. I was told that the work had been completed on my last visit, and that only involved a software upgrade, and I can ignore the new notice. Hmmm, sounds shady to me.
Since I am not a mechanic, I'm asking the forum if there could be a connection between this the AC, transmission, and the transmission module? Has anyone else dealt with issue?

Does the invoice you received when you had the vehicle serviced show the recall and part?

The invoice says the work "Safety recall-Momentary rear wheel lock-up", was completed, but there is no part number or description.
15 minutes ago, i felt a hard downshift and my check engine light came on. DTC code is P00747-Pressure Control Solenoid Stuck On. The recall notice does not give a part description of the needed part.
I'll be at the dealership tomorrow, hope they don't try to charge me for this repair.
