Curious if the wiring is in place to change over the stock third brake light w/o camera to one with a camera. I know sometimes the harnesses are the same just missing the actual hardware.

There is a software component also. You didn't mention trim level but looking here the cameras they reference are in the handle. Try a search here with the correct trim.
