Yesterday the car just turned off at a stop light - I saw a quick "Streering Issue" on the computer screen, but it went away fast. For a while, I couldn't even get hazards on.

Then it stated emergency battery recharging - and after the tow truck driver was about to get it up on tow , it started, but we towed it to dealer anyway, which was only 200 yards away from where I was.

Anyway, they ran "diagnostics" and the computer said there was low voltage on all the systems, so they could not pinpoint where. They drove it, started it right up in morning and afternoon, low voltage went away.

they checked for loose wires and anything touching anything that could cause the issue, found nothing.

Any thoughts on what happened? Or did somebody EMP my car and make it shut down? LOL

Seriously, any thoughts?

Is there something you didnt tell is about the car "emergency battery recharging"?
Is this a hybrid?
there are 302 technical service bulletins of which 92 cover electrical for your car. Did the dealer bother checking any of them?

My 2017 has done this 3 or 4 times. Dealer told me I have a bad battery.i bought new one drove around with it in trunk for over a year. After I installed it in a different car it took about a week to quit me again. Everything I was able to jump it and all would be fine. Alternator ckd fine by dealer.
So I charge the battery about once a month and so far all is well.
