2014 Chevy Suburban LT (cabin filter)

Today I decided to trouble shot my ac issue. Check compressor pully, check 134a (filled to specs) and wanted to check the cabin filter.... cant find it. Come to find out they didnt come with one. I cant imagine why, not to mention the damage it could cause.

Vehicles came without cabin filters for decades, started here in 1994, no damage prior.
