2012 Chevy Malibu LT tires

The car currently has 225 50 r18 tires. However I am having trouble finding them used. I can only afford to replace the front tires at the moment. What other sizes would work, say a 225/60 for example? Or 235/60? Etc.Thanks

You can get new tires for $110 each from Tire Rack.
Even 215/60x18 is too large in diameter

This seems like a viable and reasonable option, with a slight change in size and a little more comfort. The impact on driving behavior will be minimal.

Going from 50 series to 60 series in 225 is almost a 2" increase in diameter, not viable or reasonable.
