2012 3.6 malibu coolant leak

I have coolant leak coming from lower bolt on feont motor mt on rear side of the engine. I wonder if i could remove the bolt and put tread sealer on it to stop the leak?? The other question i have is why would there be coolant down that low? The bolt is right above bottom flange on the block where oil pan is bolted too? Any help would be great!! Thanks!

Have you used a pressure tester to confirm that is actually the source of the leak?

Yes thats how i found the leak. It holds of preesure for 24 hrs but it did loose about half of the pressure.
