Thief deterrent comes on and then all the gauges go nuts. Power steering has also gone. It comes and goes. It has had all the recall work done by GM. Took it to a private garage where they are telling me it could be the ignition switch. They had a GM scanner. Want to replace the ignition switch??

did the problem start after the recall work? if it did, did you go back to the dealer and tell them about your issues? was your vehicle part of the electric power steering motor recall?
