2009 chevy impala/malibu vs 2009 camary?

I'm talking about 6cyclinder vs v6 not 4banger vs v8
Which one is safer?
Parts price comparision?
Reliability
Mpg?
Your opinions but please don't bash the car just because it is domestic or not domestic.

I've heard the impala parts are cheaper but will break down faster then the camary. And that the camary gas milage isn't as good compared to the power th chevy has. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

get the malibu it is the coolest of the group. and you can get the malibu only as a 4 or 6 cylinder not an 8. but you get pretty good power from the v6 especially because you get a 6 speed transmission with paddle shifters
