Hopefully someone can help on my truck on initial start-up when the truck is cold the trucks speedometer will drop to zero the truck continues to accelerate and the rpm rise like the truck needs to shift but won't. At first I thought it shifted into neutral but the truck continued to move and accelerate it almost felt like the truck dropped into 2nd or 3rd gear and was waiting for me to shift manually. Now the truck is still under warranty but I have brought it in twice the first time they said it was speed control sensor the second time was a loose connection on the same sensor BS now I am making a 3rd apt. with them if anyone has any info please let me know. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

Well Nardo, Tell the dealership to fix it right and quit guessing, after all GM should make ever possible attempt to repair it right since they are almost bankrupt due to the very reason you are having to return your vehicle numerous time for the same problem.....That is why they are almost bankrupt again because they don't have a repair base for their customers. Tell them that you want a loaner car while they are repairing yours......that sometimes speeds up the proper repair of your vehicle......

2008, this vehicle should still be covered under the drivetrain warranty. Take to any dealership for diagnosis and repair.
