Has anyone had this problem my 2008 chevy malibu rear door locks won't work with remote have to lock doors by hand. Also the rear doors won't lock with front driver door controls either. Both of the remotes have been replaced.

Sounds like a broken wire to me. Have fun finding that sucker, but the first place I'd check is in the connector from the drivers door to the fuse box.

It also could be both rear door lock actuators are bad. You have to open the door panel and check whether the actuators are being energized when attempting to lock the doors.

I had this happen to both my doors at seperate times. The second door right after I had the first door fixed. The door Lock has to be replaced. Fortunatley I had an extened warranty. Without it it would have been $350.38 per door.
