2008 Avalanche Door Lock Problems

6 months ago the power lock on the driver's door stopped working. I took my 2008 Avalanche to the dealer. Even though it's out of warranty, they fixed it for free, saying it was a "good will" repair.

Now my rear driver's side door is starting to fail. I won't work for a couple days, then start working again. I'm sure it'll be completely gone soon. Is this a repair I can make myself? If so, what is involved in getting the door panel off, the part number needed, etc.

you can get parts at www.gmpartsdirect.com. If you can get a copy of a Chiltons or Hanes manual they might cover door panel removal or try googling it.
