Hi I'm wanting to hollow out the 300k old cats on my suburban I was thinking I could use a set of o2 cheaters to change the reading on the rear sensor. Has any one done this yet? I have no emissions here and I don't wanna spend the coin on new cats when the cars getting close to being on its last leg. I am pulling the trans this coming weekend to do a rear main seal so figured I'm gonna have to pull the cats and exhaust out to do that anyways might as well gut them if possible. Thanks

I was hoping for some one first hand. I was reading some people added a small hold to help draw fresh air into trick the o2 and I thought I saw one person had to use 2 cheaters. I'd ideally like to know Incase I need to order an extra set or size of hole drilled and all that before tearing it apart. Thank you for the response. Do you happen to know of any threads that show it done or info on it being done?
