when I turn the key in the ignition to start my chevy suburban, it continues to try to start even after I release the key. After a few seconds or more, it will stop but the car failed to start. Usually if I try it again, it starts. This is a new problem I am experiencing for the past couple of weeks, and it's quite annoying. Does anyone know about this problem and what th efix would be so that it will start properly?

You could have a sticking starter solenoid.
