The little clicker button for unlocking and starting my truck is confused. It only works for 30 seconds after the vehicle has been touched (door opened closed etc...) If I want to use the remote start I have to go out, open and close the door and then use the start button. Same with the door locking and unlocking and the open button for the back hatch. It's not the battery. I know it must have something to do with the billion different features the stupid thing has but can't find a solution for my problem in the manual (dosen't mean it's not there, I just haven't found it yet) Anyone know an answer to my very annoying problem? To get in my truck I Must keep the key with me.

My 2009 Suburban is doing the exact same thing. I have to put the key in the door to "wake up" the car and then the remote will work. Did you find a solution?

You are saying if the car is locked you cannt unlock with the remote?
Did you test or replace the remote battery?
Do you have a second remote to try?
