2007 Chevy malibu door ajar error?

Hey everyone, I have a 2007 chevy Malibu and recently I have this "door ajar" message when all doors are closed. I can still lock all the doors with my alarm or manualy, but my alarm will go off by itself after a couple minutes. It happened a month ago, and now started back up again today.

I have opened all doors and closed them tight, so I don't know if it's a fuse, or sensor or whatever. Anyone know what this might be? Thanks.

You likely have a sticking/faulty switch in the door latch. Try flooding the latches with lubricant and operating the doors. If you have access to a scanner, enter the BCM and look for codes. This will steer you to the offending door.

It could be the switch on the door, however, in a small number of cases it could be related to the Body Control Module in the vehicle. However, GM has a high rate of failure in the factory BCM's and so it's a possibility.
