I have a 2007 Chevy Avalanche and the check engine light came on about 2 days ago. Shortly after a message saying Stabilitrak OFF, then Service Stabiltrak, then it started putting up Service Traction Control and Service Stabilitrak, next morning same thing except the truck is jerking while accelerating from a stop. Any suggestions on what this is?

Is this covered on any warranty (Powertrain, Drivetrain) the mileage is 60,150. Thankyou

You may want to check the condition of your battery. The computer will start shutting these systems down to save power if the battery voltage is low

My wife and I purchased a 2007 Avalanche LTZ last summer that began having these very same issues. I took it back to the dealer that we purchsed it from, as my assumption was that it would be something relatively simple. They spent 4 hours poking and proding, and then told me it needed a new gas cap (It had all the same issues, plus a check engine light). After much research I convinced myself to purchase and install the "Autoride delete kit" for the front suspension. This seemed to fix the problem for a short period of time. We finaly took it to our local Chevy dealer who diagnosed the problem as a vacuum line that was connected from the motor to the driveline (I'm not sure if it went to the transfer case, transmission, or differentials). The line had a hole in it (vacuum leak). They replaced the vacuum line, and we have not had this issue since.:D

I have a 2008 Chevy Avalanche with the same warning lights coming on with 59000 miles. Stabilitrak/Traction control disabled and check engine light comes on with engine bucking at low idle. once engine warms up, warning lights go out.
took it directly to the dealer where I purchased vehicle and they plugged into computer. Dealer stated there is a problem with #8 cylinder and would cost $2900 to change out cams and lifters.
seems a little far from the problem. do not know where to go from here.

I had an 05 Equinox that started doing the exact same thing and it was the frigging EGR valve. Now, I never figured out how in the world the EGR could effect all of that, but once I replaced it and cleared the codes, it was good to go. Take to to your local Autozone or Advance and have them run codes on it and see what shows up. You may be surprised. I bought the EGR valve from Autozone for about $80.00. You WON'T get it that cheap at a GM dealership.
