2006 Silverado 1500 4x4 humming

My truck recently started humming when moderately braking. Brakes were done about 8,000 miles ago, tire tread about half worn, but evenly on all tires, rotated about 600 miles ago. No steering shake, or wobble. Drives just fine, nice and quiet like always, but humming like mud tires when I brake from highway speeds to slow in turn lane. HELP!!!

Front or rear? What exactly was done? Who did the brakes you or a shop? If a shop have them check it. If you, pull the wheels and check condition of pads, rotors, and wheel bearings.
