whenever i drive my truck on bumpy roads, speed bumps/dips my check engine light comes on, and ,my message center says Decreased engine power after that i would have to shut my truck off, and start it again,it loses all power, and the rpm's won't go past 1, until i restart the truck,

i've read online somewhere that some had the same problem with the same truck, and the dealer said it was the thorrtle body censor,

the question i had was, does anyone know what a throttle body censor cost? and how much would it cost with installation, and where is it located on the engine....

than you, and god bless

they are refearing to the thottle position sensor. it is held in with screw ussualy and is a easy fix for even the most unmechaniclly inclined. it will run you anywhere from 15 dollars to 100 dollars and will take like 10 minutes to replace. it t is something you will be able to do yourself. ask autozone to show it to you and then look at your truck till you find it mostlikely by the end of the aircleaner tube closest to the intake on the engine.
