I am considering buying one of these two cars. Both are around 6 thousand. The Cobalt has 30k miles and the Civic has 15k miles. Which car should I buy? I like the Cobalt a little more because the pick up (acceleration) seems waay better then the Civic. I'm having doubts about the Cobalt because it was in an accident, the radio paint is peeling, and the tan interior is dirty. I don't like the Civic too much because it is very slow for me and the interior seems kinda plain. But I can always swap out the engine and put the SI engine in (or is that too much money)? Which car has better gas mileage, better 0-60 (please provide the times for each car), which car has less mechanical issues, which car has better resale value (like if i decide to sell it in a couple of years)? Please help me decide which car is better.
