My 2006 Automatic Chevy Cobalt was working perfectly fine and all of the sudden does not accelerate or switch gears or anything. The car can be put into reverse or forward and roll, just with no use of the engine (basically how a car rolls when you let off the break at a red light is all i can compare it to) and when it was in neutral, there was a light clicking noise that could only be heard inside of the car but not outside.
Where should i start looking for problems?
any help is greatly appreciated =)
a 2006 Chevy cobalt does not have a way of measuring teh tranny fluid as far as i know... i could not find anything on the engine to check the tranny fluid and checked the owners manual and online, online says that the transmission is sealed which done becouse they need little maintnence, but i know that it can be drained and refilled just not as easy as some... what does it mean if the tranny fluid has a burnt smell to it?
