I have a 2005 suburban z71 whit some issues i would like to fix, but dont know where to start and maybe you guys can help me whit that. First thing is that i have full heat or no heat at all from the climatecontrol. And that is on both passenger and driver side. I i turn the knob to full heat i blow warm air, if i turn the knob down just one step it blows cold. Same for the passenger knob.
Next thing is that the rear blower motor resitor is gone?? Some pre-owner must have take it out for some reson. I would like to purchase one but i dont know which model it should be? And the third thing, the ding ding for door open ajar, or seatbelt etc is hilarious loud!! I have the settings on low on stereo but its to f**ing loud anyways. Can it be turnded off? Hope you guys have some tips for me, the swedish guy from the nort of sweden who loves my suburban😎

Do you have automatic climate control?
If you do have auto climate control changing fan speed disengages the automatic temperature selection. You have to wait till the cabin warms up and the fan speed will automatically drop.
Since I don't know where you are looking for this resistor I don't know what you mean by model. The VIN should tell you what you have.
You have to go to the settings menu to change the volume. Go to Chevrolet.com to download an owners manual.

Yes i have automatic climate control. But the fan speed has nothing to do whit the heat. If i turn the tempknob to full temp (warm) it blows hot air from airvents. But i i just turn the tempknob down one step i blows cold. Its all or nothing. Dosnt matter how much fan i have on or if i have it in auto. The resistor for the rear blowermotor is back in the "trunk" on the right side were the blower motor is. I have go to settings and set it in low volym but its very high anyway. Is there any way to turn it off.

Just to be clear if you set the temperature to 72 and the engine is fully warmed up do you get warm air?
If you then set it to 70, does the fan speed drop?
Have you read the owners manual?

Engine fully warm, the temperatur set on max on the climatecontrol, i get hot air. If i turn down just one degree it start to blow cold air. Its all heat or no heat.

You need a HVAC scan tool to find the cause.
