2005 Chevy Cobalt keyless entry battery died..how much is a new one?

Someone had said it's about $75, is that true? That's extremely expensive. I'd like to know how much money to put aside for it, so I can fix it as soon as possible. It's not a big deal, but without it I feel lost.

Battery is less than $10.00 go to dealer, or any place that sells batteries.Just replace the battery any you will be back to your old self.

try calling or take it to your local Radio Shack... they should have it there.

Autozone and Murray's/O'Reileys has a Key Fob Tester you can try it out on and the battery rack is right next to it. Typically, youll look to spend 5 to 10 bucks for a battery at any local parts store.
