2004 Trailblazer Coolant smells like exhaust

I purchased my 04 Trailblazer about 3 months ago and everything seems to be alright with it. Except the other day when I went to check my fluid levels, I noticed my coolant smelled very strongly of exhaust. I'm no mechanic by any means, but I'm pretty sure this can't be anything good. Anyone out there know what's going on that might be able to help me out?

You need to pressure test the cooling system and do a hydro carbon test on the coolant.
