2004 chevy malibu cluster not lighting up red?

What fuse is linked to keeping the "red on" in my 2004 Chevy mailbu, clusters. I have had the car for 4 days and nothing but problems. Also my trunk release on my key-less entry isn't working. If anyone knows the answers to this, please let me know!
Just the dials are red on the cluster. I checked the fuse in the trunk, and I believe it was #6, 10a. And it wasn't Blown. And in the manual it doesn't give any detail on the RED part of the cluster. Thanks for your help.

Does the entire cluster light up red normally(back lighting)? Ive honestly never seen a malibu with anything other than standard white back lighting. Do all of your other controls light up when the headlights are on. If so then you may have a cluster problem unless the illumination circuit has an open/short.
