2003 Silverado engine problem

was on my way home from work tonight and suddenly lost power.
Dash message said "reduced power"
Pressing on the gas does barely anything.
Drove home with truck idling and would only go 30 mph on level road.
Temperature is only 3 degrees outside, but I only run premium gas in it so don't think it is a moisture problem but will put a bottle if heat in it in a few minutes.
Truck is missing badly... any ideas?

OK, so I went back out and started it up and it is running fine.
I dumped a bottle of heet into it, but am wondering if it was freezing up and the warm engine thawed it out or if something else is going on?
Guess I will see if it makes it to work tomorrow morning or not.
Supposed to get down to 8 below tonight.

if it happens again take it to autozone and let them do a free computer scan for codes
