2002 suburban HORN,DRIVIN ME NUTS!

I have a 2002 suburban, the keyless remote went out months ago, so I have been using key to openn manually, about a month ago, every time I unlock doors, the alarm goes off, I turn the truck on, and the alarm stops, if I lock it and unlock it right away, it wont alarm but after it sits a while, and I try to unlock it again, the alarm goes off, OMG! If somebody can help me figure this out, I would sooo appreciate it.... Thanks

I am not sure that this would work but it may be worth a try... Disconnect the battery for about ten min. then if the cpu resets it will resume it's normal function. Just a guess!
